Currently a Utah Conceal Firearm permit is recognized and honored in 36 other states. By reciprocity Utah will honor a CCW permit to carry a concealed firearm issued by many other states.
Of the states that have formalized reciprocity or recognition with Utah, there are some states that will only accept the Utah concealed firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of Utah.
